The Past and You.
Maybe in another life I would have asserted myself and asked you to stay a little while. But i’m in this life and I can’t press rewind, so I’ll face the consequences and move forward with my life. But none-the-less, I’m still right here, I haven’t gone anywhere. But I’ll be going somewhere soon, I promise you this. My life is ahead of me, one stumble in the road won’t end my trip. I’ll never forget you, but I won’t shed another tear. The past is only the past and it won’t bother me anymore. Thank you for everything, you showed me what it feels like to have a significant other that truly cares about you.
